Tip 1: Use Products With Built-in Mirrors
Always carry makeup products with built-in mirrors so that you don’t have to hold too many things at once. These items can be eyeshadow palettes, foundations or powders. My go-to mirrored compact is the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette. It has a full sized crystal clear mirror built-in to a sweet smelling palette that holds many shades that can blend for a flawless daytime look.

Tip 2: Utilize Your Makeup Pencils
Eyeshadows can be messy and hard to apply in stop and go traffic. Carry a champagne to mousy brown eyeshadow pencils to smudge on your eyelids for an effortless expensive looking eye.
Tip 3: Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate
When in a rush, you don’t have the 30 or some minutes to apply your liquid foundation flawlessly but there’s a fix for that. Hydrate your skin with a Rose Water to reduce redness, plump the skin and tighten pores. It smells amazing and helps create a smooth canvas for applying foundation or powder to the skin.
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20
Tip 4: Tinted Moisturizer is the way to go, when on the go
Create a smooth dewy glow to the skin with tinted moisturizer. It can be applied with a kabuki brush, a flat foundation brush or even your fingers. With tinted moisturizer, you can get smooth beautiful skin without worrying about messy application.
Tip 5: Skip the liner & Lash it up!
Eyeliner can be difficult even when sitting still so applying in a moving car is a no no. But don’t fret, you can still create a sultry look with your mascara. Mascara is easier to use then eyeliner and can open up the eyes just like liner. Choose a curling mascara and get more lift and curl without the danger of trying to use an eyelash curler in traffic.
