As a lover of natural and organic products, I like to try new things that clients, friends and subscribers mention to me. During a bridal consultation, a client told me about a new product she was trying to keep her calm and stress-free while planning her wedding. She said she discovered it through a friend and I insisted that I had to try it. I went to the website she gave me and was very intrigued by what I found.
Lotus Wei, the word “wei” has two meanings. The first is “transformative action” and the second is “for the benefit of all,” has a long collection of flower remedies that help inspire the mind, body and soul. Created by a flower alchemist and spiritual seeker, Katie Hess, these special flower essences are said to have the power to shift your mood and physiology.
As I read the website I was surprised to find that plant-based alchemy wasn’t anything “new” or “innovative.” It’s actually something we do every single day, several times a day. When we breathe in and out, we are pulling in oxygen that is created by the trees, flowers, and plants around us. Lotus Wei product collections are just another way of receiving the properties that we get from the plants. With Lotus Wei pure flower essences, suspended in water can be delivered directly to the body. It’s liquid green energy in a bottle.
I know you may be reading this going… umm this may be too good to be true. And frankly, it may be but it looked interested enough for me to want to try it out.
The first step was finding what flower essences would best work for me. On the Lotus Wei website there’s a section with several colorful bloomed flowers to choose from. I was to select 3 flowers that I was most attracted to. Since the pictures of flowers didn’t have names or any additional instructions, I just selected the flowers that were prettiest to me. I know, such a ME, thing to do. But it worked. The flowers that I selected produced some very interesting and useful mood suggestions: Infinite Love, Quite Mind and Inner Peace.
These suggestion were perfect for what I’m currently interested in advancing and developing in my mind, body and soul. In each mood category, there are several different types of products available: Flower elixirs, Aura Mists, Balancing Serums, Transformative perfumes and Anointing Oils.
To start my flower essence journey, I selected Quiet Mind Balancing Serum. Quiet Mood is supposed to magnify feelings being more connected; quiets the mind and enhances awareness and clarity.
Even though I was diagnosed about 6 months ago, I’m still trying to balance the symptoms of my neurological disorder, Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension. It can cause insomnia, anxiety, restlessness, migraine pain and tension all over the body.
The website also states that it: Dissolves tension and helps you experience deep rest and sound sleep; be in your perfect zone and zen, enhancing efficiency, clarity and effectiveness. Antidote for: sleeplessness, restlessness, monkey mind, thinking too much or too much in your head, distraction or hard to pay attention. Hopefully, this will be a helpful natural product that can offer some relief.

Overview | Today is Day 1. I will revisit on Day 15 and Day 30 like I do all my 30-day reviews. My first impression of this product was pleasant. It is suggested that I try for 30 days by using the Quiet Mind Balancing Serum by applying to my face and pulse points. It smells pretty good. Not too overpowering and not flowery. I was a little worried that I would be able to stand that smell of a mixture of that many flowers but I enjoy the scent very much. It has a hint of lemon and geranium. The oil absorbs very fast and didn’t leave my skin feeling like I had anything on it. I didn’t notice any mood changes but the website does say that changes are normally felt in 2 to 3 days. We’ll see what happens. Meet me back here in 14 days for the Day 15 update.
