Product | “A high-pigment foundation for full coverage with a long-lasting, beautiful finish.” – Sephora.com t
Pigmentation | The pigmentation shows in the liquid that you pump from the bottle. It’s very thick and opaque upon application. The coverage does provide full coverage to the face and neck. This product is also so pigmented that it can cover light scars and imperfections.
Application | This product can be applied with a brush, sponge or even your fingers. The Lock-It Foundation is easy to apply without getting streaky or blotchy coverage.
Texture | The Lock-It Foundation comes out as a thick liquid. It’s slightly firm and creamy. This product does not pour well but it can be mixed with water without affecting the coverage. I did not experience any feathering, fading, steak or bleed. The product does not smudge once it sets in about 30 seconds. The product sets matte without a dry or cakey appearance. This product is also semi- nontransferable.
Longevity | This product is advertised to provide 24-hour coverage. “The combination of raw materials and the best siliconic elastomers and siliconic esters provide 24-hour wear with transfer resistance” – Sephora.com
I observed up to 16 hours of unchanging coverage. I didn’t wear or test for 24 hours straight so I can not confirm this claim. However, I can confirm that I did experience all day coverage.

I discovered this product earlier this year and I have been meaning to officially review this product. This is one of my favorite foundation for oily skin. I would suggest this to anyone that gets shiney thoughout the day. It provides matte coverage without looking dry or cakey. If you are interested in this product, however, get matched by a rep in Sephora. The foundations are numbered but some of the numbers don’t make sense once you get to the darker shades. I was matched with 74 but 74 is about 3 shades lighter than 72. If you want to try this product, be mindful of that.
